Sprinkleton ("the app", "we", "us") is a free match-3 puzzle game published by Cookie Labs. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Your game progress — level, score, stars, coins, hearts, power-ups, daily-bonus streak and settings — is stored locally on your own device (including a small on-device backup copy so progress can survive the system clearing app storage). It may also be included in your device's standard Android backup, which is managed by Google under your device settings. This data is not uploaded to us and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data. Sprinkleton does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, contacts, or photos.
Sprinkleton is free and supported by optional ads. We use Google AdMob to display rewarded advertisements — short video ads you choose to watch in exchange for in-game coins. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process certain information, including a device advertising identifier, IP address, and app-usage/interaction data. This information is handled under Google's policies. You can learn more, and manage ad personalization, here: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. In regions where it applies, you can review or change your ad-consent choices from within the app.
To understand how the game is played (for example, which levels are too hard) and to find and fix crashes, Sprinkleton uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. These services collect pseudonymous information such as gameplay events (level started, level won or lost, ads watched, purchases made), session and device information (device model, operating system version, country-level region), app identifiers, and — if the app crashes — technical crash logs and the state of the app at the time. This information does not identify you personally, is used only in aggregate to improve the game, and is never sold. It is processed by Google on our behalf under Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Sprinkleton can show optional local reminders (for example, when your hearts are refilled or a daily reward is ready). These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device, send no data anywhere, require your permission, and can be turned off at any time in the app's Settings or in your device's notification settings.
On launch the app may download a small game-balance settings file from our website. This is a plain file download; it contains no personal data and none is sent with the request beyond what any standard web request includes (such as an IP address, which we do not log or use).
Sprinkleton offers optional in-app purchases (coin packs). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing; we do not receive or store your payment details.
Sprinkleton is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the ad services, please contact us and we will address it.
Cookie Labs does not collect your name, email address, or any directly identifying information, and we never sell data. The only data collected on our behalf is the pseudonymous analytics and crash information described above, processed by Google (Firebase). Advertising and purchase processing are performed by Google (AdMob / Play Billing) as described in their sections.
If the app or its data practices change, this policy will be updated and the new version posted at this same address before the change takes effect.
